The 8th International Conference on Higher Education Learning Methodologies and Technologies (HELMeTO 2026) will be held in Cagliari (Italy) on September 28-30, 2026.
HELMeTO 2026 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners studying Online Learning Methodologies to present and share their research in a multidisciplinary context. The conference is focused on all the relevant topics for online higher education and provides a forum for the discussion of new research directions and applications in these fields, where different disciplines could effectively meet.

The conference will include parallel sessions organized in two general tracks:

• Online pedagogy and learning methodologies;
• Learning technologies, data analytics and educational big data mining as well as their applications.

Moreover, Special Tracks will be organized by valuable researchers under the umbrella of HELMeTO 2026.

Special track proposal

Proposals for Special Tracks are welcome. Proposals must be emailed to conference@helmeto.it, specifying as email subject “Special Track 2026 Proposal”. Call is now open!

Each proposal must specify the following fields, the proposal should not exceed the 3 pages:

• Title
• Aim and Scopes
• Potential Scopes of Interest
• Special Track Leader Organizer, with his/her affiliation, contacts and a very short bio
• The list of other co-organizers, with their contacts and affiliations
• A list of potential contributors
